I am a Trainer and Supervisor for the Compassionate Mind Foundation. This is the organization founded by Professor Paul Gilbert to promote training and research in Compassion Focused therapy. I would be happy to discuss your training needs with you. Workshops and ongoing training can be in person or online. The training emphasizes both didactic and experiential learning.

6 Session Introduction to Compassion Focused Therapy

This workshop series will be presented by Greg Samuelson RN, RP. It will be delivered online in 3 hour sessions. Timing: Mondays 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Hong Kong Standard Time 2024 June 3, 17, 24, July 8, 15, 29

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance from GPS Psychotherapy and The Canadian Network for Compassion Focused Therapy. The pricing of this workshop will be: HKD $3000 per person.

Participants will be introduced to the three emotion and affect regulation systems linked to threat, awareness, and coping, reward and resource seeking, and contentment and soothing -- and how they form complex patterns within the mind. Participants will learn how early life experiences can shape the organization of our emotions, increasing our dispositions towards threat based emotions that underpin a lot of mental health difficulties.
